About Us

EMPOWERMENT AND INNOVATION 360 (E&I 360) is a registered 501C (3) organization dedicated to fostering and maintaining  the awareness of Sierra Leoneans living in Sierra Leone and the Diaspora about the need to give back to communities  of their choice, and ensure continuity for the benefits of current and future generations.

This non-profit organization was formed in the early hours of December 14, 2014 in Raleigh, North Carolina at a birthday celebration event of one of it’s founding members. The original founders belong to a small group of Sierra Leoneans who happened to be friends and colleagues either at high schools or Fourah Bay College.

Empowerment and Innovation 360 was found with the spirit of giving back. The founding members used the opportunity to discuss the myriad socio-economic problems facing Sierra Leone. The current educational standard was identified and discussed to be out of touch with global realities, and would create a vicious cycle if not addressed in a timely manner, would keep Sierra Leone at the very bottom of the global economic index. The group recognized that, an enlightened human resource is the key to the development of any county, and our beloved country Sierra Leone, is being left behind and loosing out.

EandI360 was born out of the desire in their own little ways, to use their education and experience gained over the years to impress upon the lives of young promising and potential students in Sierra Leone, with the aim to steer them in a direction that would bring a change to themselves, their communities, the country, and the world at large– a worthy goal that was decided upon is to dedicate resources for as long as possible in areas such as:

  • Scholarships for needy students
  • Transportation support for students
  • Career Guidance
  • Public speaking and IT skills
  • Community Support Programs
